Michael Wang was appointed Chairman and CEO of CWT International Limited in February 2022. He is also Chairman and Group CEO of CWT Pte. Limited, and currently serves as a director of Shanghai Stock Exchange A-Share-listed HY Energy Group Co. Ltd and a director of NASDAQ listed Tuniu Corporation. Michael has extensive management knowledge and working experience in the fields of investment and financing, financial markets, financial accounting and compliance. Prior to joining CWT, he held senior positions with several companies under HNA Group, Deloitte LLP UK, Hung To Capital Limited and Qingdao Haier Co., Ltd. Michael holds a bachelor’s degree in German from Shanghai International Studies University and a master’s degree in interpreting and translating from the University of Bath in United Kingdom. He is also a certified public accountant of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
